Luna came to us at 7 months old from Georgia out of Omegamtn. She is an AKC show line border collie. Her pedigree is littered with dogs who have titled in conformation and excelled in a variety of dog sports, such as fastCAT, disc, agility, and more.

Luna ia 20” tall and 38lbs with a long rough coat. Her temperament is sweet and friendly. She is eager to learn new things. Very treat and toy motivated. She can be a bit of a princess, but we love her for it. And in all that she does, somehow she manages to adds a touch of personality.

We started out with working on Luna’s basics and fundamentals in agility, rally, and conformation. After a few handling classes, we noticed her natural talent in the ring.

In January 2024, we chose to send Luna to Texas to be shown professionally by handler, Ashley Miller, in pursuit of her AKC Champion title. After 6 weekends into showing, Luna was able to finish with her CH title and get 24 out of 25 points towards her AKC Grand Champion title. Luna finished her grand in one more weekend at Five Valley’s Kennel Club in Missoula, MT on June 1, 2024.

We have shifted our focus from conformation into different sports and performance events. Luna is actively involved in AKC Rally and fastCAT, which she loves. She has been introduced to sheep and has received an HT title for instinct. We are so proud of our girl.
